Safety is an integral part of Northwestern Data Comm Ltd. operations, and we are committed to protecting employees, clients, property, the environment and the public. 

We consider compliance with safety legislation a minimum rather than a maximum, and we assign the highest priority to health and safety over all other activities. 

Northwestern Data Comm Ltd. believes in the integrity of business operations that includes a health and safety program that is integrated with job quality, codes of practices, environmental protection and customer satisfaction along with the safety of our workers and the general public. 

There are many costs to accidents and unsafe work practices. The greatest costs are human costs. By protecting employees, we are also protecting their friends, families, fellow workers, management, the public and the environment from far-reaching effects of serious accidents. We are also protecting our ability to continue doing business and employing people. 

In addition to protecting lives, our safety program contributes to employee morale and pride because our employees participate in identifying safety needs and developing safe work procedures and practices. 

Northwestern Data Comm Ltd. is committed to ensuring that all applicable legislation is incorporated into the safety program and to the consistent compliance with that legislation by making all employees aware of all the policies, responsibilities and applicable legislation that relates to the company. 

Management demonstrates their commitment to health and safety by posting 

their Company Health and Safety Policy and reviewing it annually and with every 

new employee during the new worker orientation. They also demonstrate their 

commitment towards improving workplace safety culture by developing and 

maintaining a health and safety program that complies with all Provincial legislation.
